Tessa George Da Silva is the director and lead sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapist of Effective Physiotherapy Ltd. She qualified from Manchester University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2002. She has also completed post graduate diplomas and postgraduate certificates in orthopaedic medicine, business management and sports and exercise medicine.
As a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, Tessa has gained further qualifications in acupuncture and pilates. Tessa has worked both in the NHS and in the private sector. She has gained extensive experience working with elite, sub-elite and recreational athletes’ injuries across many disciplines.
Tessa is a keen sports woman and has been involved in sports from an early age competing in middle distance running and netball at local and national levels. Tessa now spends most of her time helping athletes and non-athletes recover from their injuries.
